Easter Safety Tips
Believe it or not, Easter is this month! Here are a few safety tips to keep your dog happy, healthy, and safe this Easter.
Keep Your Easter Baskets Off the Floor and Out of Reach: Chocolate can be toxic to dogs and sugar can cause digestive issues, so please keep candy in a secure location.
Skip the Fake Grass: Fake grass makes Easter baskets look pretty, but it can be a choking hazard to dogs.
Easter Lilies: These are beautiful plants, but lilies can be toxic to pets. If you have one of these in your house or yard, keep a close eye on your dog to make sure he/she doesn’t take a bite of them.
Plastic Easter Eggs: These can be fun to hide special treats in, but they are another choking hazard to dogs.
Table Scraps: Be careful not to feed your dog too many table scraps. Dogs can develop digestive upset from eating excessively fatty foods.
